Dassault Rafale C

The Rafale is a multi-role combat aircraft currently in service with the French Armed Forces and the successor to the well-known Mirage. The model shown here represents the single-seat fighter version (C = chasseur, hunter) of the French Air Force. There is also a two-seater version (Rafale B) and a special version for the Navy (Rafale M); these versions are also available as kits from Trumpeter.

The model was built without any additional parts, only the pilot figure was added. I used fluorescent paint to depict the engine jets. The water surface of the base was modeled with toilet paper, which was soaked in glue. After drying, it was painted and then sealed with clear varnish.
