When it came to model building, I was like many other model building enthusiasts:
I first encountered the hobby as a child and was immediately fascinated. One of my first
kits was a P-38 Lightning from Matchbox - poorly assembled and unpainted.
But I was proud to have created a finished model. With more passion and enthusiasm than skill,
I gradually built up a small model collection from various topics - tanks, airplanes, ships...
the things that fascinate a little boy.
As I grew up, the hobby gradually faded into the background and eventually lay dormant for a long time.
But around 2012, I rediscovered my passion for model building, and I've been enjoying it ever since.
In the meantime, I have not only been able to improve my skills and equipment, but I have also discovered
new topics for myself. For example, science fiction, and especially Gunpla model building.
These kits from Japan, which are gaining increasing popularity here as well, have now become my main hobby.
However, I occasionally build other models as well.
